Senator, when you took your oath of office, you placed your hand on the Bible and swore to uphold the Constitution. You didn't place your hand on the Constitution and swear to uphold the Bible.

This comes to me from the tagline of a friend's e-mail, and I love it. I'm just sorry that the state of our government is such that this sort of thing needs to be said.
